Lovely stay
We have stayed here before, so we knew it was nice. Our room was really nice, overlooking the river. It was clean, warm and spacious. We didn't have breakfast but we have had it before and it was help yourself from a breakfast bar. Which is not included in price. However it is good for the price. We love St Ives, it's very scenic and quient village. You can get the hop on bus to Cambridge which is cheap too.Chinese restaurant just over the bridge is good, plus Weatherspoons in the town is nice too. Really enjoyed our stay. ( DIDN'Tneed the heating on all night though!!
Excellent.
Very attentive. Particularly liked the mirror light in the Bathroom and adequate lighting in the room. Food was good and plenty of free parking. We will definitely be staying there again when visiting St. Ives.

I booked an executive room for a night away, lovely and clean. Bright and roomy. Will definitely be back.
Better than many reviews I’d read
Was apprehensive based on many very negative reviews.The greeting was friendly and welcoming at the reception, the room was clean and modern, carpets in good condition.The bed was comfortable, everything worked as expected in the room. And room was actually a large size.

I have to say that the room was very nice indeed.It is very modern and done out nicely. Also a nice big bath. Another plus is it’s a good location. Just literally 100 meters away is a large amount of shops, restaurants and pubs. A nice stay

Didnt see much of the hotel to be honest . Reception to room 530 yardsRoom more than sufficient however avout a foot away from the rd although not that busy a rd but can hear people walking past chatting and cars going past .Room was clean and comfyThe fire alarm going off at 8:15 on a sunday morning was a bit of a shock aswellI jad stayed here before in one of the rooms at the back off the rd and would ask for these again if needed to visit .Very convenient juat a 2 monute walk over the bridge and your in st ives town itself
There is some work to do to the common parts of the building and the room (63) was warm bright and inviting.
Thank you for a warm comfortable overnight stay, we will definitely stay again one day.
Nice
Really nice location next to the river, lovely little town centre just over the historic bridge.Nice big rooms, very clean, new carpet, fluffy towels, tea and coffee, huge TV.A few little repairs here and there that hadn't been done very well (messy sealant and holes filled) but nothing much.The price was good too for such a perfect location.Funny a pleasant reception staff (didn't get her name).

our latest trip to St Ives
enjoyed our stay at the Dolphin hotel , lovely room overlooking what was a meadow used by dog walkers , joggers , walkers etc when we visited in June and August , on this visit (end of November) the river had flooded the meadow which certainly gave a dfferent view from the room , only downside to our trip was the fact the bar wasn't open on any of our three nights ( Thurday , Friday , Saturday ) which was a bit disappointing , luckily a short walk over the bridge are numerous pubs

First impressions of hotel not great, car park and reception very scruffy. Receptionist very polite and helpful.Room very clean and pleasant with balcony overlooking canal and beautiful meadow.Daily service of rooms good although a little mean with coffee and tea.

This was our 6th visit which was very much enjoyed. Liz, Mia & their team were amazing and nothing was too much trouble.We enjoy visiting St Ives & Cambridge where we previously lived and brings back many good memories.
